This 16-unit apartment complex was designed for members and families of the Australian Embassy staff in Tokyo. Designed by PAE in the 1950's and located across from the Australian Chancery, the apartments maximize privacy and usable floor area, and attenuate the inconveniences often associated with urban apartment living. The building has six floors of apartments, a swimming pool, squash courts, underground parking and a mechanical equipment penthouse. Upon completion, this embassy residence building was frequently featured in construction industry newspapers and magazines.
